-Tumor volume reduction was significantly enhanced in α-KG + anti-PD1-treated mice compared to either treatment alone, particularly in the B16F10 melanoma model.
-Survival time for the treated mice increased significantly with the combination therapy.
-The immune response was strengthened, with a notable increase in the ratio of CD8+/CD4+ T cells and an elevated cytotoxicity profile of CD8+ and CD4+ T cells, shown by increased granzyme B (GZMB) and interferon γ (IFNγ) expression.
-The immune microenvironment was further improved by reducing immunosuppressive M2 macrophages and increasing PD-L1 expression on tumor cells.
